Dahlem IV wind farm grows rapidly

The second wtg in the wind farm has been fully assembled and is being prepared for commissioning.

Dahlem / Trier  Now the time has finally come, the first Enercon E-126 EP4 in our portfolio has been completed. The wind turbine with the project number WEA 08 was completely assembled last week. Now the usual interior work will follow and afterwards the commissioning will take place. After a construction stop of more than three years, this wind turbine can finally do what it originally was planned for.

This one wind turbine will produce in the next 25 - 30 years about 10 million kWh of electricity per year and save about 5.200 to CO2.

After about 6 months the plant will have produced the energy (incl. CO2 emissions) needed for production, construction, operation, deconstruction and renaturation! For the remaining decades, the plant will actually produce clean electricity that does not depend on the exploitation of dirty domestic lignite or the import of hard coal, for example from Australia or Colombia.

The avoidance of dependencies on other countries in the supply of raw materials to our energy system is therefore also one of the main advantages of a regional, decentralized and renewable energy supply.

For reasons of nature and climate protection, remaining in the Satus Quo is absolutely intolerable! With this in mind, we will continue to work with great commitment and prudence on further projects to realize the energy transition.
