Wind farm Gersweiler is approved!

Our fourth Saarland project can be built.

Trier/Saarbrücken. Finally the time has come! After the application according to § 4 of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) was submitted in May 2020, the Gersweiler wind farm has been approved for construction and operation by the Saarland State Office for the Environment and Occupational Safety. This means that an important goal in the project development has been achieved and we are very pleased.

Two wind turbines with hub heights of 160 m and 167 m of the type E-138 EP3 and E-160 EP5 from the manufacturer Enercon are to be erected between Klarenthal and France. Further information can be found on our website under "Our wind farms in planning". For this wind farm we offer a participation for the residents of the immediate vicinity of the wind farm by means of a subordinated loan. Further information can be found at the following link: https://beteiligung.dunoair.com/ (german). Here you can express your interest in a participation.

With the Gersweiler wind farm, we are now realizing our fourth project in the Saarland after Schwalbach, Bous and Pfaffenkopf. Over the course of the year, they will feed in many millions of kilowatt hours of green electricity, thus saving CO2. The Gersweiler wind farm will not be our last project in the Saarland. In the coming years, we will continue to work hard to expand wind energy in our neighboring countries. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
