Am Hohnersberg Wind Turbine

The Am Hohnersberg wind turbine was commissioned in the spring of 2009 on a plot of land near Brimingen owned by DunoAir. The E-48 wind turbine produces 1.3 million kilowatt hours per year and supplies electricity to 360 households. The individual wind turbine has its own transformer substation which transfers electricity to the public grid.
