Nienhagen Wind farm

In February 2008, work started on the construction of four Enercon E-70 wind turbines with a hub height of 98 m. The farm was connected to the public grid in October 2008. With the expected annual production of 15 million kilowatt hours, the farm can supply electricity to around 4,000 households. The four wind turbines save 8,200 tonnes of CO2 and five tonnes of sulphur dioxide a year.
