Schwalbach wind farm

The wind farm "Schwalbach" is the first wind farm project realized by DunoAir in Saarland.

In 2016, DunoAir submitted an permit application according to the Federal Immission Control Act for the construction of four E-115 wind turbines with a total output of 12.0 MW in the district of Saarlouis near the community Schwalbach. The environment of the facilities ist wooded and used for forestry purposes. As a result, existing transport routes only had to be adapted to heavy load transport requirements.

The generated green electricity is fed into the network of the VSE via a substation, which was built in the neighboring municipality of Bous.
