Bueren wind farm

DunoAir’s Büren wind farm was connected to the electricity grid in the summer of 2009. The ten Enercon wind turbines have a hub height of 138.4 m and an overall height of around 180 m. Experience has shown that there are very steady and strong wind currents at this height which guarantee high electricity production. With an expected output of around 65 million kWh, the wind farm supplies electricity to around 16,800 households annually. This saves the environment 34,200 tonnes of CO2 and 33 tonnes of sulphur dioxide a year.
